First, we took our dog, Macey to a beach called Morro Bay. It was so beautiful and she LOVED it! Here are a few pictures from our adventure:

Also, every Thursday night they have a huge farmer's market in downtown SLO. They have amazing fresh produce (like the yummy corn and strawberries we got) and they also have fun events. When we were there a few weeks ago they had a truck set up with fake snow and people were snowboarding! It was hilarious!

Well.. it was that day! I've driven by when it was busier, but since the water is so cold here the beaches aren't as packed as say, Florida beaches.
I'm so glad you're lovin' your new little town! Sounds fun! And the pictures are gorgeous.
Did you know "morro" is the Portuguese word for "hill"?!
That dog looks like a pony next to you.
Lorie- I didn't know that.. I'll have to tuck that bit of info away. (I looked it up in Spanish, but it means snout. hmmm)
Bobby- the most common comment we get is, "Do you have a saddle for that horse?"
AHAHA, yes your dog does look HUGE next to you or maybe you just look cute and little and petite next to your dog

Your photos make me miss SLO! I grew up there and still have my parents and friends down there to visit. Enjoy it!
